Charnwood C-FOUR Insert Multi Fuel Stove

The new C-Four Insert stove is yet another design classic from Charnwood. This handsome 5kW output multi fuel inset stove has the best-selling C– Series subtle timeless curves, is Defra Approved and has external air capability as standard. The latter being an unusual feature for a traditional fireplace insert stove, but one which is now becoming increasingly more important in today's well insulated homes. Again, unusually for an inset stove, you can choose one of 8 tasteful colours – including Almond (ivory) and metallic brown, to complement your fire surround or fireback.

As a multi fuel inset stove you get Charnwood's renowned converting grate which can be simply externally opened (for multi fuel) and closed (for wood) depending on your choice of fuel. This also acts as a very efficient riddler for smokeless fuel. Like the other C-Series stoves the C-Four Insert has one simple user-friendly push / pull control to deliver the precise mix of primary (lower) and secondary (upper) combustion air for total controllability of its 2kW to 5kW output. It also has additional pre-heated tertiary air for very clean combustion and a chunky cool-touch wooden door handle which ratchets the cast iron door tightly closed. Inside, the fire chamber rear wall is vermiculite and the side walls are plate steel lined with cast iron side 'shoulders' for added heat protection for the steel bodywork.

The C-Four Insert offers excellent efficiency at 80% and is designed to easily fit into a standard UK and Irish fireplace opening, once any preformed concrete fireplace back has been removed. The insert stove is contained within a steel heat shielding box which has a separate cast iron flue liner collar, both of which are designed to simplify and speed up the installation process. Lastly, the big air washed picture window provides you with a full view of the flames making the C-Four Insert a no-compromise replacement for those of you who are still in love with the idea of an open fire.
